Healthcare corruption is a major global issue. It is estimated that a total of around $500 billion is lost per year (WHO, 2018). This is more than 5 times the current annual health expenditure of all of Sub-Saharan Africa (World Bank, 2019).

Transparency International (TI) chapters across the globe are working to fight healthcare corruption, with a particular focus  on supporting global efforts to achieve Universal Health Coverage.

HealthWorks is a growing directory of the healthcare research and programmes delivered by TI Chapters – representing a wealth of experience and expertise.
